HOW TO GET QUICK PROMOTION ?
কি করলে চাকরি তে উন্নতি স্বীকৃতি ও প্রমোশন পাওয়া যাবে আর নিজের রোজগার এবং ভবিষৎ উজ্জ্বল করতে পারবে ?
How to get quick promotion in service and make a bright career?

১) প্রত্যেকদিন নিয়মতোন ডিউটি বা অফিস এ হাজিরা দিতে হবে যেন অকারণে কোনো কামাই না হয়. শরীর খারাপ থাকলে ডাক্তার প্রেসক্রিপশন প্রমান স্বরূপ রাখতে হবে আর যদি কামাই হয় তাহলে প্রথমে ওয়ার্নিং দেবে তারপর চাকরি থেকে ছাঁটাই করে দেবে।
Keep daily attendance. If sick maintain doctor's prescription
২) কাজে যেন কোনো ভুল না হয় বা মাল রিজেক্ট না হয় যায় যাতে কোম্পানি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় তাই যে কোনো কাজ করা সময় ভালো করে জেনে, শুনে, বুঝে নিতে হবে কাজ শুরু করার আগে । এটা যদি বাড়ে বাড়ে হয় তাহলে তোমার প্রমোশন তো দূরের কথা তোমার চাকরিও চলে যাবে
Work very carefully so that mistakes or rejections in quality happens. If it recurs then you may lose your job leave aside promotion
৩) সুপারভিসর যেমন যেমন বলছে তেমন তেমন তার অর্ডার বা উপদেশ শুনে চলতে হবে যাতে সে তোমার নামে ভালো বলে প্রমোশন এর সময় ।
Follow the orders and advices of your supervisor because he recommends your promotion.
৪) সবার সাথে টীম ওয়ার্ক করে কাজ করতে হবে কোনো রকম বচসা বিবাদ না রেখে যাতে অপর অপরকে সাহায্য করতে পারে প্রোডাকশন এর টার্গেট তোলা জন্য ।
Maintain teamwork and extend help to your colleagues and do not engage in any conflicts
৫) যদি সুপারভিসর ওভারটাইম করতে বলে কোম্পানি দরকারের সময় অবশ্যই করতে হবে তাহলে শুধু নিজের রোজগার বাড়বেনা ওভারটাইম থেকে বরঞ্চ কোম্পানি উপকৃত হবে এবং সুপারভিসর খুশি থাকবে ।
If supervisor tells you to do Overtime in the interest of your Company do it as it will not only increase your income but also becomes an obedience
৬) সব শিফট এমনকি রাত্রি শিফট এতে কাজ করতে হবে এই মানসিকতা নিয়ে রাখতে হবে চাকরি তে ঢোকার সময় ।
Be prepared to work in all shifts including Night Shifts
৭) অনেক সময় ম্যানেজমেন্ট ডিপার্টমেন্ট চেঞ্জ করায় কোনো সময় ভালো থেকে মন্দ আবার মন্দ থেকে ভালো ডিপার্টমেন্ট ভালো বলতে আমরা সবাই বুঝি একটু কম চাপ বা সোজা মাপের কাজগুলি. কিন্তু তুমি যত কঠোরতম বা উচ্চ টেকনিকাল কাজ বা সব রকম কাজের অভিগজ্ঞ থাকবে টোটো তাড়াতাড়ি তুমি প্রমোশন এর পাত্র হয় উঠবে ।

৮) কারখানা বা অফিস এর কর্ম ক্ষেত্রে ভিতর অনেক ক্ষেত্রে ব্যাক্তিগত রাজনীতি, পারস্পরিক হিংসা, রাগ, ক্রোধ, জাত পাট ইত্যাদি ঘটনা প্রচুর ঘটে থাকে এগুলো থেকে নিজেকে বাঁচিয়ে চলতে হবে তার প্রশিক্ষণ আলাদা ভাবে তোমাদের কে সেখান হবে এটি একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় যার মোকাবিলা করার জন্য শিখতে হবে ।
Stay away from corporate politics, zealousies, anger, conflicts and try to manage them tactfully. This will be taught by us with case based situations
৯) কতৃপক্ষ যেন সবাই তোমাকে ভালো বসে আর তোমার কাজের উপর ভরসা করতে পারে যাতে তারা সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে পারে তোমার উপর নতুন দায়িত্ব দেয়া তে প্রমোশন দিয়ে ।
All members of the management team must like you and you so you must make good rapport with all.
১০) সবাইকে নিয়ে চলার ক্ষমতা তৈরি করতে হবে যাকে বলি লিডারশিপ কোয়ালিটি এটাও তোমাদের কে বিভিন্ন্ন বাস্তবের উদহারণ দিয়ে সেখান হবে ।
You must develop the skills to take all alongwith you in your work which is the leadership qualities in you .
১১ ) কোনোমতে ঝগড়া ঝাটি রাজনৈতিক আলোচনা, নেশা করা, অসাধু কাজ করা চলবেনা এতে চাকরি চলে যাবে ।
Do not engage in any conflicts or political discussions or intoxications at work place then you will lose your job
১২) মেয়ে সহকর্মী দেড় কে ভীষণ সন্মান দিয়ে চলতে হবে নাহলে চাকরি চলে যেতে পারে
Respect all women colleagues else you will lose your jobs.
১৩) প্রত্যেকদিন নিজের কাজের ব্যাপারে ওয়ার্ক ডায়েরি রাখতে হবে আর সেখানে কোন কোন দিনে কি কি কর্মক্ষেত্রে সমস্যা হয়েছিল যা তুমি চেষ্টা করেও সমাধান করতে পারোনি এগুলি তোমার সুপারভিসর কে বাড়ে বাড়ে জানিয়ে রাখবে ।
Maintain your Daily Work Diary with notings of any day where you failed to perform and the reasons keeping your supervisor informed
১৪) সেফটি নিয়ম কানুনগুলি ভালো মতন পালন করতে হবে কারণ এগুলো না মেনে চললে তোমাকে শো কস নোটিশ করবে যা তোমার প্রমোশন এর বিরুদ্ধে যাবে ।
Follow all Safety Rules Compliances failing you may get Show Cause Notice and your promotion will be stopped
১৫) প্রোডাকশন/ Work Target এর যা টার্গেট দেবে সেগুলিকে পূরণ করতে হবে যাতে তোমার দৈনিক ওয়ার্ক শিট এতে ১০০% টার্গেট সম্পূর্ণ দেখায় এটাই ম্যানেজমেন্ট চায় প্রমোশন দাওয়া সময়
You must complete 100% of your Production Target/ Work Related Target otherwise your promotion will be impacted.
১৬) ছুটি সব জায়গায় এক বছর পর দাওয়া হয় ছুটি নিতে হবে দরখাস্ত করে আর ঠিক সময় কাজে ফিরে যেতে হবে দেরি করলে শো কস নোটিশ দেবে যা প্রমোশন পেতে আটকে যাবে ।
You will get leave after one year. You will have to apply for your leave and rejoin your work on schedule day otherwise your promotion will be stopped
১৭ ) নতুম নতুন আইডিয়া বা চিন্তা ভাবনা দিতে হবে যার থেকে কোম্পানি উপকৃত হতে পারে তা সুপারভিসর কে দিতে হবে ।
You must give new ideas so that Company benefits and which will impress the management to give you promotion
১৮) মনে রাখবে যে যেকোনো চাকরি ক্ষেত্রে জানবে প্রমোশন গড়ে ২ থেকে ৩ বছর পর পর হয় থাকে আর প্রথম দিক তাড়াতাড়ি হয় তারপর যত বছর বাড়বে প্রমোশন আস্তে আস্তে কমে আসবে কিন্তু মাইনে আর বিভিন্ন সুযোগ সুবিধা প্রচুর বাড়বে যে কোনো প্রমোশন এতে ৫০ % থেকে ৭০% মাইনে বেড়ে যায় সাধারণত ভালো ভালো কোম্পানি ক্ষেত্রে দেখা গিয়েছে সুতরাং সবাইকে মাটি কামড়ে তাদের প্রথম প্রমোশন এর জন্য ২ থেকে ৩ বছর ভালো কাজ করতে হবে যা যা উপরে বলা হয়েছে যদি কোম্পানি প্রখ্যাত এবং নামি কোম্পানি হয় থাকে তাহলে সেখানে দীর্ঘ চাকরি করার জন্য মনস্থির করতে হবে আর উপরের বিষয়গুলি মাথায় রেখে আরো দায়িত্ব নেবার জন্য প্রস্তুত হতে হবে যত স্মার্ট পরিশ্রম করবে ,যত বাড়তি দায়িত্ব নিতে পারবে যত তাড়াতাড়ি সব কাজ শিখে নিতে পারবে ততো তার প্রোমোশন তাড়াতাড়ি হবে ।

Remember Promotions are given generally between 2 to 3 years in the initial stages and decreases lateron. In every promotion the jump is between 50% to 70%. The more you work smartly , the more responsibilities you take and work in a team with leadership qualities you will get your promotion fast

Ans : District Industries Centre is a State Government Institution which is set up in every District by a State Government for helping and facilitating the development and growth of Small and Medium Scale Industries
The roles and responsibilities of District Industries Centre are

c) To help them get loans from banks by way of Term Loan and Working Capital Loans

Q5) WHAT IS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD ? WHAT ATE ITS ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES ?

Ans : Pollution Control is the need of the day to save lives and to save this planet. Industries contribute a major source of pollution in the environment by way of smoke dust noise water etc. To contro such pollution the Government has set up Pollution Control Board which is an institution that controls monitors and issue directives to industries for pollution control and issues licences in this regard
The roles and responsibilities of Pollution Control Board are as under

1) To approve the manufacturing process and system as per the Project Report of the new industries to be setup by the entrepreneurs and give the Licence
2) To inspect regularly industries to review the nature of pollution generated and controlled
3) To cancel licences and stop the industries if the pollution control measures are not taken
4) To cancel and stop the industries in case of any complaints received for pollution generated
5) To instruct industries to install any further machines or equipment to control further pollution

Q6) WHAT IS FOOD & DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEPT? WHAT ARE ITS IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS ? Ans :Nowadays we are highly dependent on the industries who makes food for us unlike more than 50 years ago when there were virtually no food industries. Now a major population consumes processed food and drugs, fast food, food supplements etc which have very many chances of getting adulterated or poisioned or unhealthy for consumption
Food and Drug Administration Department is a Government Department which monitors and controls all Food and Drugs Industries so that quality food and medicines or drugs can be manufactured and made fit for consumption by the people
The major roles and responsibilities of the Food and Drugs Administration ( FDA) are
a) To approve list of food and drugs items that can be processed or manufactured and sold for human consumption and issue the FDA Licence before start of the manufacturing process
b) To approve the extent or limits of chemicals and preservatives to be used while manufacturing or processing of the food items
c) To get such drugs and medicines manufactured approved by various related Research Centres of the Government
d) To regularly give surprise and spot inspection of industries engaged in food processing and drugs manufacturing in order to find out if any adulteration is done or not
e) To approve samples of food processed and drugs manufactured before selling in the market
f) To conduct raids on hoarders, adulterators and blackmarketeers of such trade
g) To issue continuous guidelines and orders to control food quality
h) To stop industries from manufacturing if found not following orders
i) To ensure that the composition of every food and medicines are written on the packet for information of the consumers
j) To ensure that the dosages or units of consumption are mentioned on the packet.

Ans: Electricity Regulatory Body or Commission is a Government Department that regulates generation and distribution of electricity, fixing of tariffs of electricity and prevention of theft of electricity
The major roles and responsibilities of such body are

a) To monitor generation of electricity both hydel thermal and now solar
b) To ensure equitable and fair distribution of electricity everwhere
c) To ensure minimisation of transmission loss of electricity and advise actions to be taken

Ans All State Governments have their respective State Finance Corporation WB or West Bengal State Finance Corporation is a WB State Govt Financial Institution that helps to promote by way of financial help to Small Scale Industries, Medium Scale Industries, MSME Industries and Large Industries in the State of West Bengal.
The roles and responsibilities of WB State Finance Corporation are
a) To approve Project and Feasibility Reports from financial viability point of view
b) To sanction Term Loan and Working Capital or Cash Credit Loans to such industries
c) To refinance industries when in need
d) To issue Letters of Credits and Bank Guarantees for payment of debts
e) To monitor the financial health of the industries and raise alarm for any sickness
f) To sanction Rehabilitation Financial Packages
g) To qickly dispose off sanctions and processing of funds
h) To identify various sources of sustainable employment opportunities products and services
Q11) WHAT ARE SCHEDULED BANKS AND THEIR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ?
Ans: Scheduled Banks are those banks which are not nationalised banks but are governed and regulated by the RBI and the respective State Governments.
Scheduled Banks are generally found in the remotest villages and take care of the rural and semi urban people
The roles and responsibilities of scheduled banks are
a) To generate savings and deposits in the banks
from the rural people and banking activities at their doorstep
b) To extend financial support to the cottage and tiny industries
c) To extend financial support to the farmers by way of giving loans for their agriculture purposes
d) To extend financial support to the needy and weaker sections producing Khadi goods

Q12) EXPLAIN THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE WB ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ? Ans :This Corporation is a State Government organisation of West Bengal State and which has the following roles and responsibilities
a) Encouraging women entrepreneurs to start their own businesses in West Bengal
b) Promoting growth of employment of women in tribals and backward classes of West Bengal
c) Promoting various self employment agriculture based industries and khadi goods amongst women in West Bengal

e) Supporting financially the women farmers with all agricultural facilities
f) Promoting education of girl child and encouraging them to go to schools

Q13) WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF THE PRIME MINISTER EMPLOYMENT SCHEMES ? Ans:The Prime Minister Employment Scheme which was started in 2008 has the main objective of
a) generating employment opportunities in rural as well as urban areas through setting up of self-employment ventures and business units
b) to provide continuous and sustainable employment opportunities to a large segment of traditional and prospective artisans and unemployed youth
c) to stop migration of rural youth to urban areas.
Q14) MENTION SOME SCHEMES UNDER PRIME MINISTER EMPLOYMENT SCHEMES? Ans:The various Employment Schemes are :
a) Prime Minister�s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP)
Under this any unemployed person of 18 yrs age can start any business
and projects upto maximum of Rs 25 Lakhs which the Govt will finance and help to grow
b) Credit Guarantee Scheme

Under this Scheme the Govt of India will stand as guarantor for loans taken by Micro Small and Medium Enterprises
c) Interest Subsidy Scheme
The Govt will give subsidy for interest to be paid on Long Term Loans
d) Empowering the Khadi Commission and Board to expand its activities so that each corner of the rural belt of unemployed youth are brought into productive employment schemes
Q15) EXPLAIN THE FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF PMKVY SCHEMES? Ans: PMKVY means Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Scheme.
It is an aggressive skill training scheme of the Government of India. Under the PMKVY, the Central government provides various skill training courses in different industrial verticals through authorized training centers.PMKVY scheme offers 419 job courses under which students get training. Each course was designed with the vision to impart theoretical as well as practical training to the candidates.

The benefits of PMKVY Schemes are :
a) To train the youth of India with various technical skills

b) More than 24 Lac youth will be the part of this scheme at the initial stage

c) The scheme also introduces monetary awards to the best performers.
d) Those who want to pursue their technical education, get help from the government regarding scholarships, educational loans, etc.
e) Under PMKVY skills training, nationalised standard will be maintained.
f) Students, who will undergo this training program, can apply for further education in various prominent institutions.
g) Moreover, the certification under this program will also be taken as an advantage in the job selection process.
